But wait, there's more!

Just downloaded our other camera to find these gems that belong to last week's post! Wow we've been busy!

Captain Ryan aboard the SS. Fellows at Torch Lake.

Me and Ryan checking out the other boats.

Max and I at Tiger Stadium. They won!

Ryan at the Rockford festival excited to see 7 fire engines in a row. The only kid who did not cover his ears!

Chef Carrie preparing out woodfire pizzas in her backyard oven. Yum!

Henry and Ryan devouring their woodfired treats.

Max and Ryan at the Grand Rapids festival just after a good dancing session!

18.25

Somehow with the arrival of "Summer Max" we missed the update for Ryan turning 1.5 years old! His well baby check went great. He's 70% for weight and height....and 96% for head circumference. Shocking considering Max's skull. Max and Ryan are truly enjoying their time together as Max adjusts to a new pace and Ryan to a new schedule. (He asks about Deb and Jenny often :) He's saying colors now and talking to himself more often. The best is when he tries to sing the ABC's with us. He runs really fast through the house and has taken to galloping. He's also making the animal sounds for dog, horse, lion and cow.

You'll see lots of Father's Day below. The holiday capped off a CRAZY week of fun for us. I went to a NASCAR event two Sunday's back (yes, NASCAR, but I had pit passes and $500 seats), then Max and I met his brother Johnny in Detroit on Thursday for a Tiger's game. Saturday we drove north 2 hours to Torch Lake to hang out with our good friends, the Fellows, whom just moved back from CA. Don will be coaching against Max this upcoming Football season, but Patty and I committed to siting on each others' visitors sides when the time comes. We weathered the volatile bleachers of Mona Shores when Don and Max coached together so nothing will separate us now! Yesterday we hit the Blues on the Dam concert series in downtown Rockford and ran into everyone we know that doesn't live in Rockford!

This week marks lots of fun ahead too. Kirstyn (sister) celebrates her 31st bday with us Friday and then Max's dad and step mom come for 4 days. We can't wait. All in all an eventful two weeks (I didn't event mention the tornado at 1am this week and today's earthquake!)

We hope each of you are well and enjoying the summers. We promise to update more often.

Love to you all,
Court, Max & Ryan

Ryan was left a BMW by some friends that moved out of state. Yes, our kid drives a better car than we do. And he seems as surprised as we are.

Father's day hanging out in Papa's chair.

Checking out Nami's pond.

Looking at the waterfall.

Running and running and running.

Here's Ryan walking up the path that I walked down on our wedding day. We're getting nostalgic since my parents are prepping the house to go on the market.

Checking out the pond again.

Big foot. Check out those dogs. Size 7's already! They are so wide we can't get anything else to fit.

Ryan spent the evening wearing bins as hats...as did Max and I. Very creative.

Nami and Ryan have been sharing lots of time together since she now watches him 3 days a week for a few hours when Max is coaching.

Yogurt with a fork?

Playing "night night" or "flop" as we call it.

This is our child.

I am so glad God gave us this specific child with these specific quirks!
