One of the most special parts of our trip was a family sunset that we caught beachside. It was a perfect night with the ones I love most in the world.
Observing Max with our kids is therapeutic to my soul. He truly is an amazing father and our kids adore every second with him.
Elise tried to keep up with her brother who is a Master (sandcastle) Builder. Ryan also spent time kicking a coconut around. Why did we pack toys? A red solo cup and beach debris was all they needed to have fun.
Ryan's talents don't stop with Legos. The kid was so intent on building his complex that an old lady came up and asked to take a photo of it! Someday this kid will build something big.
And while Ryan builds, Elise will dance on the edge of breeze. She is stubborn and whimsical and imaginative and fiesty. Her hair tells her story well.
This is proof that I was on the trip. Max and I were treated to a Valentine's Eve date night when my parents watched the kids for a night. Felt like our old days in Carlsbad. Except we were tired by 10pm rather than just getting ready out go out for the night!
These are a few randoms that didn't make it into the last batch. Memories I want to preserver none-the-less.
